Lifeguard Courses
Required to participate in course
- Must be at least 15 years old by end of course
- Online learning must be completed prior to first day of class (Email sent out week of class)
Pre-Test
- 300 yard swim (front crawl, breastroke) Face must be in water
- 2 minutes treading water. No arms
- Timed event: 1 minute 40 seconds
- Sprint swim 20 yards
- Submerge 9ft, head or feet first
- Retrieve 10lb object
- Return to side of pool and exit
- Underwater swim
*Pre-Test must be scheduled with Christine prior to first day of class. Tests will be done for 1 week prior to class.

- Pre-test will be completed on day of recertification
- Participants must hold a current Liefguarding and CPR Certification, if expired please forward questions to Christine
- Online learning will be emailed out 1 week prior to class. Coursework is NOT required but highly encouraged.

Lifeguard Instructor Courses
Course Overview:
As a candidate you will learn how to instruct Red Cross Lifeguarding classes, CPR, and waterfront. The American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor course trains instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding, Aquatic Attraction Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills, Waterpark Skills, First Aid, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, Administering Emergency Oxygen and Bloodborne Pathogens.
This course prepares instructor candidates to use course and presentation materials, conduct training sessions and evaluate the progress of candidates in a professional-level course. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certificate valid for 2 years.
Required to participate in course
- Must be 17 years old before the end of the class
- Must hold current liefguarding/CPR certification (recert can be added if needed for additional $$)
Must attend all classes, and complete all assigned teachings

All participants in any of our course MUST provide an email to recieve coursework. This must be an email you plan to use for the duration of the certification period.
*Refund Policy for all Courses
- Notice 24 hours or more before class starts: 100% refund
- Notice less than 24 hours before class starts: 50% refund
- Notice after class starts: NO REFUND. You may switch to another course or program offering. Failed class attemps will need to re-register for a future class.
